Security Reports

If our service includes security reports or assessments, you understand and agree that only you can determine whether such reports or assessments are appropriate for your specific use case. We do not guarantee that our security reports will identify all vulnerabilities or risks, nor do we warrant that implementing our recommendations will result in a completely secure system.

Report Handling and Analysis

We delete uploaded reports after completing our analysis. However, our analysis results contain references and excerpts from the analyzed reports. We retain copies of these analyses, which may be provided to other organizations that upload the same report for analysis. To verify report contents and prevent duplicate analysis, we compare the SHA256 hash of newly uploaded reports to the hashes of previously analyzed reports. By uploading a report, you acknowledge and consent to this process, including the potential sharing of analysis results derived from your uploaded report with other users who submit the same report. Analysis does not include information related to the company or user that submitted the report.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in any way connected with the use of this website or our services.

Use of Third-Party Services

To provide our services, we utilize various third-party platforms and services, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Vercel, Amazon AWS, and Pinecone. By using our service, you acknowledge and consent to the involvement of these third-party providers in the processing, storage, and transmission of your data, including any reports you submit for analysis. While we make efforts to choose reputable providers and to protect your data, you understand and agree that:

1. The use of these third-party services is essential to our ability to provide the service to you;
2. Your data may be processed, stored, or transmitted through these third-party systems;
3. The privacy policies and terms of service of these third-party providers may apply to the handling of your data on their systems;
4. We are not responsible for the security measures or privacy practices of these third-party providers, though we make reasonable efforts to select providers with appropriate security and privacy standards.

You agree that your use of our service constitutes consent to the involvement of these third-party services as described above. If you do not agree to the use of these third-party services, you should not use our service.

User Responsibilities and Indemnification for Report Submission

SOC reports and similar documents often include click-wrap terms and conditions. Our software does not review or interpret these terms. By uploading a report for analysis, you warrant and represent, as a condition of our providing the services, that:

1. You have thoroughly reviewed any click-wrap or other terms associated with the report;
2. You have the legal right to provide the report to us for analysis;
3. Our analysis and potential sharing of analysis results (as described in our Report Handling and Analysis clause) does not violate any terms or conditions associated with the report.

You agree to hold us harmless from, and defend us against, any claims made by the service organization that provided the report or any other party claiming that our analysis or handling of the report violates any terms, conditions, or rights associated with the report. This includes, but is not limited to, reimbursing us for any legal fees, damages, or settlements arising from such claims.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the amended terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
